Iron-ore-mine boulders/scree; Iron Road Prologue open to ~1500, Hare Scramble is the pro final. 2026 (30th ed.) ran Jun 4-7; 2027 date TBA (typically late May/early June). ⚠️ amateur_friendly downgraded to false on 2026-08-12. It was true while difficulty is advanced/pro — logically incoherent, and unverified at source. On a field that can send a first-timer to a Dakar-class rally, the safe default when unverified is NO. entry_level is 'unverified': some of these genuinely have an entry-level class or route (e.g. Erzbergrodeo's Iron Road Prologue), and that nuance must be checked per event at the organiser's own regulations before amateur_friendly is set true again.
